Working from home may not be a thing of the past as more than 93% of tech companies in India are considering adopting a hybrid working model beyond the Covid-19 pandemic. Workplaces are transforming to embrace evolving hybrid operating models with an increasing demand for on-demand workspaces and the rise of satellite offices in Tier 2 cities and beyond.
The details were given in a report titled “Technology Reshaping the Future of Work: India Perspective” by NASSCOM, in partnership with Microsoft.

About 63% of Indian enterprises have increased their investments in hybrid cloud services.
About 74% of employees surveyed want flexible remote work options to continue.
About 93% of tech organizations nationwide plan to adopt a hybrid working model beyond the pandemic.
THE FUTURE OF WORK IN INDIA
According to the report, approximately 92% of organizations believe that the future of work technology solutions has played a critical role in organizational resilience during the pandemic.
The Future of Workplace Technology Solutions enabled remote working for over 90% of the tech industry workforce in India within 2-3 weeks of the second wave.
Indian start-ups focused on tech solutions for the future of work have raised nearly $115 million in funding over the past two years.
