Durham Constabulary has extended the deadline for those wishing to apply to its police officer recruitment program.
The force says hundreds of people have already applied for the program, but decided to extend the deadline by a week to ensure they give everyone a chance to apply.
As one of the most successful police forces in the country, she wants to hear from those who think they have what it takes to be a Durham PC.

You must be hardworking, be able to use common sense and enjoy taking on challenges as well as having two A levels.
In return, you’ll start with a salary of Â£ 24,780 – which climbs to Â£ 41,130 after seven years on the job – and earn a force-paid degree in the process.
The force is also keen to hear from applicants from under-represented and diverse groups.
