Bungie’s new roster proves the expansion of the Destiny 2 universe

Recently, TheGamePost reported on a Bungie job posting regarding the Director of Business Operations position. According to the list, the director of business operations “will help drive the future expansion of the Destiny universe.” Moreover, he also indicates that this project manager will be in charge of the Destiny Universe leadership team.

“We are looking for an exceptional Project Manager who will lead the rituals and strategic processes of the Destiny Universe leadership team.”

More details on the Jobs suggest that this will involve the creation of the Destiny Universe roadmap. This will include coordinating the timing of product releases and deployments for consumers in the Destiny Wallet. As rumors have circulated about an expanded universe for Destiny outside of games, this is the first time developers have used the term “expansion”.

What to expect from the extended universe?

Another job posting from Bungie last month detailed the company’s search for a senior executive to lead Destiny projects in other media. This includes TV, movies, books, comics, and audio formats. With such a massive storyline, the community would love to see new forms of entertainment involving many of their characters.
